Senior citizen & accessibility services
Every devotee should be able to reach the deity with dignity. Free wheelchairs, battery cars, ramps and a separate priority darshan counter are available every day, with volunteers to help.
Services on the campus
Wheelchairs
Forty wheelchairs are available free of charge; a volunteer can push the chair to the darshan counter on request.
- At Gate 1, Gate 2 and the parking plaza
- Against any photo ID; no deposit
- Book one in advance through the help desk
Battery cars
Free electric cars carry senior citizens, devotees with disabilities, pregnant women and parents with infants across the campus.
- Every 10 minutes, 5:00 am to 10:00 pm
- Board at the marked stops or ask any volunteer
Ramps & lifts
All gates have ramps with handrails, and a lift reaches the upper mandap near Gate 2.
- Tactile paths from Gate 1 to the darshan hall
- Resting benches every 50 metres on the parikrama path
Priority darshan
A separate counter and queue at Gate 2 for senior citizens aged 60 and above and for devotees with disabilities.
- Carry age proof or a disability certificate
- One attendant may accompany each devotee
- Free senior citizen passes can be booked online
Accessible toilets & water
Accessible toilets and drinking-water points at Gates 1 and 2, the parking plaza and the Annakshetra.

Hearing & vision support
Announcements are made in Gujarati, Hindi and English, and printed guides are available in Braille and large print.

The service is free. Cars have space for a folded wheelchair and priority seats for those who need them most.
