Darshan & queues
What are the darshan timings?
The temple is open from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Aarti timings change between summer and winter; see the Daily Aarti page.
Do I need a ticket for darshan?
General darshan is free. Shighra, special and VIP darshan passes with a time slot can be booked online or at the counters.
Is there a priority queue for senior citizens?
Yes. Devotees aged 65 and above and differently-abled devotees can use the priority queue at Gate 2 with a free senior citizen pass. Wheelchairs are available on request.
Rooms & stay
How do I book a room in the dharamshala?
Rooms can be booked online up to 60 days in advance. Check-in is from 12:00 noon with a valid photo ID for every adult guest.
Can I cancel my room booking?
Bookings cancelled at least 48 hours before check-in are refunded after a 10% processing fee.
Donations & 80G
Are donations eligible for tax exemption?
Donations to the General, Annakshetra, Gaushala and Temple Construction funds qualify for deduction under section 80G. Your receipt shows the 80G details.
How do I download my 80G certificate?
Open the Donor Tax Portal, verify your mobile number with an OTP and download the certificate for any of your donations.
Is PAN mandatory for donations?
PAN is required for donations above ₹50,000 and for Form 10BE. Cash of ₹2,00,000 or more from one person in a day cannot be accepted.
Pooja & seva
How do I book a Rudrabhishek or Navgrah puja?
Sevas can be booked online or at the Seva Counter. Please share your gotra and the names for the sankalp while booking.
Prasad
Can prasad be sent to my home?
Yes. Dry prasad boxes can be ordered online and are delivered across India within 5 to 7 working days.
Camera & mobile
Can I take photographs inside the temple?
Photography and mobile phones are not allowed inside the sanctum. Photos may be taken in the outer courtyard. Free mobile lockers are available at the entrance.
General
Is there a dress code?
Please wear traditional attire. Shorts, sleeveless tops and short skirts are not permitted in the sanctum area.
