Eclipse and closure notices
- 02 Aug 2027: Surya Grahan: temple closed. The temple remains closed from the start of sutak until the shuddhi after the eclipse. Darshan resumes after the evening aarti.
During an eclipse (grahan) the sanctum stays closed from the start of the sutak period until the shuddhi puja after the eclipse ends.
October 2026
Sharad Navratri Mahotsav

Nine nights of Garba in the temple courtyard, daily Chandi Path and special shringar darshan. The temple stays open until 11:00 pm.
November 2026
Deepavali and Lakshmi Puja

A deepmala of 11,000 lamps, Lakshmi Puja in the evening and Chopda Pujan for traders.
Annakut Mahotsav and Nutan Varsh
10 Nov 2026
Chhappan bhog (56 offerings), Govardhan Puja and Annakut darshan from 11:00 am, with prasad for every devotee.
